I'm sure we will all agree that our youth of today are our leaders of tomorrow. We should do all we can to insure that they are ready to step up to the leadership roles America  will demand when their time comes.

Post Commanders and all other Legionnaires can make a big contribution to our youth today by participating in the youth programs of the American Legion in your local communities. I am talking about such programs as; Children Beware (Safety), Drug Abuse, Crime Prevention, Teenage Suicide Prevention, Family Emphasis and McGruff Safe Kids program, just to name a few.

Brochures are available on all these programs if you are interested in implementing any of these programs in your community and need help in getting started just call me. We'll be happy to work with you in anyway we can. REMEMBER - if you don't do it.......who will?
